Rapid Bus To Launch Seven New On-Demand Routes From March 10

KUALA LUMPUR, March 6 (Bernama) -- Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd (Rapid Bus), the operator of Rapid KL bus services and MRT feeder buses will introduce seven new routes with 18 vans under the On-Demand service starting Monday (March 10).

The new routes will cover UNITEN-Bangi, LRT Wangsa Maju-Sri Rampai, Titiwangsa-Chow Kit, Bandar Kinrara-Jalan Puchong, Taman OUG-Kuchai Lama, Bukit Antarabangsa-Setiawangsa, and Taman Melati-Gombak Setia.

Rapid Bus acting chief executive officer Ku Jamil Zakaria said since its launch in 2023, the On-Demand service has operated 19 routes.

He added that more routes will be introduced in stages by June, as more new vans are received, making it more convenient for passengers to travel.

The Rapid KL On-Demand service offers guaranteed seats, which can be booked through the Mobi, Trek Rides, or Kummute apps, depending on the service area, from 6 am to 11.30 pm.

According to Rapid Bus, the RM1 promotional fare will be extended to encourage more people to utilise the service.
