Commonwealth Day 2025: Malaysia Reaffirms Commitment To Unity And Growth

PUTRAJAYA, March 10 (Bernama) -- Malaysia reiterates its commitment to fostering unity, economic resilience, and sustainable growth within the Commonwealth family for a better future for all, in conjunction with Commonwealth Day 2025, which is celebrated on March 10.

According to a statement by the Foreign Ministry, Malaysia joins 55 Commonwealth nations in celebrating Commonwealth Day 2025.

The ministry said this year’s theme, “Together We Thrive”, embodies the continuing spirit of cooperation among Commonwealth nations in strengthening shared values and principles and achieving inclusive and sustainable development.

“This year’s Commonwealth Day also bears significance for Malaysia-United Kingdom ties, with the elevation of bilateral relations to a strategic partnership following the Working Visit of the Prime Minister to the United Kingdom from January 14 to 19, 2025,” said the ministry.
