KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- The Central Terengganu Development Authority (KETENGAH) has been asked to ensure that no young individuals in its area miss out or are being left out on all the opportunities provided by the state and federal governments.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said this was among the things he stressed during the courtesy call by KETENGAH chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Said at his office in Putrajaya today.
In a post on Facebook, the Prime Minister said that during the meeting, he and Ahmad Said also discussed the direction of the board in ensuring economic and social development in the KETENGAH area.
“I also emphasise access to services, facilities, initiatives and job opportunities, especially in rural areas in this era of digitalisation where the flow of economic and social change is very fast and drastic in line with the pace at the international level,” he said.
KETENGAH ia an agency under the Rural and Regional Development Ministry to carry out economic and social development in Dungun, Kemaman and Hulu Terengganu Districts.
