Fuel Prices Remain Unchanged From Oct 16 To 22

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 (Bernama) -- The retail prices of unsubsidised RON97 and RON95 petrol nationwide will remain at RM3.18 and RM2.60 per litre respectively for the period from Oct 16 to 22.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) said the retail price of subsidised RON95 petrol under the BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) initiative would also remain unchanged at RM1.99 per litre.

The MoF added that the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia would stay at RM2.93 per litre, while in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan it would remain at RM2.15 per litre during the same period.

According to the ministry, the price determination was based on the weekly pricing of petroleum products according to the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).

The government, it said, would continue to monitor global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare and well-being of the people.
