Bukit Aman Department Director Heads List Of Police Gallantry Award Recipients

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 22 (Bernama) -- His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, today conferred the Panglima Gagah Pasukan Polis (PGPP) award on Bukit Aman Management Department director Datuk Seri Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid.

Abdul Aziz led the list of 109 recipients at the investiture of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) gallantry awards and medals for 2025, held at the Balairung Seri, Istana Negara, here.

Also receiving the PGPP award were Bukit Aman Logistics and Technology Department director CP Gilberd Philip Layang, Johor police chief Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad and Penang police chief Datuk Azizee Ismail.

At the ceremony, His Majesty also conferred the Panglima Setia Pasukan Polis (PSPP) award on five recipients, the Pahlawan Pasukan Polis award on 16 recipients, the Kesatria Pasukan Polis award on six recipients, and the Bentara Pasukan Polis medal on 78 recipients.

The awards and medals were presented to officers and personnel of other ranks in recognition of their contributions and sacrifices in the PDRM service.

Also present at the ceremony were Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail.
