PM Anwar Receives Courtesy Call From WSF Board Member Princess Sama

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim yesterday received a courtesy call from World Scout Foundation (WSF) Board Member Princess Sama bint Faisal Al Saud at his office in Putrajaya.

Anwar posted on Facebook that the visit by Princess Sama was in conjunction with the 77th World Baden-Powell Fellowship Event that is being held here from yesterday to Sunday (Oct 26).

“Our discussions touched on the role of WSF in empowering the younger generation globally, including the Messengers of Peace initiative whicch has had a positive impact on youth development and global peace.

“Malaysia and Saudi Arabia share the same aspirations in strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the fields of youth development, social innovation and cultural diplomacy,” he said.

The Prime Minister also hoped that the cooperation would continue to flourish and serve as an important platform to strengthen universal human values.
