Kuala Selangor Police Deny Student Murder Incident

SHAH ALAM, Oct 25 (Bernama) -- Kuala Selangor police today denied the viral images and messages on social media claiming a student was murdered in Pekan Lama Kuala Selangor.

Kuala Selangor district police chief Superintendent Azharudin Tajuddin confirmed this and said that his department has not received any reports regarding the incident so far.

"That's not right. No student was killed at the location (Pekan Lama Kuala Selangor)... and there was no case of a child murdered either at that location or elsewhere (around Kuala Selangor district)," he said briefly in a WhatsApp message today.

Previously, a image went viral on social media showing a male, said to be a school student, lying in front of an optical shop, and it was claimed to have been taken in Pekan Lama Kuala Selangor.
