KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 (Bernama) – Several Rapid KL stations will be temporarily closed today due to security reasons in conjunction with the 47th Asean Summit, involving the Kelana Jaya, Putrajaya and Kajang routes from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Rapid KL in a statement announced that for the Kelana Jaya route, the stations involved are Ampang Park and KLCC with Conlay, Persiaran KLCC and Ampang Park stations on the Putrajaya route.
“For the Kajang route, it involves only the Bukit Bintang station,” the statement noted.
Alternatively, users can use the Monorail service at Bukit Nanas, Raja Chulan and Bukit Bintang stations or the Kelana Jaya Line at Kampung Baru Station via Saloma Bridge.
The public transport operator also announced that other stations that are not involved will operate as usual according to the daily operating schedule.
In addition, bus services for the T407 route are also affected and cannot operate temporarily due to road closures by the authorities.
Bus operations will resume once the road reopens.
In this regard, Rapid KL advises users to plan their journeys in advance and refer to Rapid KL's social media pages or PULSE app for the latest service status.
