Communications Ministry, NCID To Strengthen Cooperation Against Drug Abuse - Fahmi

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Communications and the Bukit Aman Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) will strengthen cooperation in addressing drug abuse issues in the country, says Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

In a Facebook post today, he said the matter was discussed during a courtesy visit by Bukit Aman NCID director Datuk Hussein Omar Khan.

“The discussion, among other things, touched on efforts to enhance collaboration between the Ministry of Communications and the NCID.

“This includes intensifying anti-drug awareness campaigns and curbing the spread of drugs on online platforms to protect society, particularly the younger generation,” he said in the post.
