PM Anwar Extends Aid To Single Mother In Semambu

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 1 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended aid to a single mother, Wong Kim Keow, in Semambu, Pahang, to help ease her family’s burden.  

The contribution, comprising cash and a food basket, was delivered by the Prime Minister’s Political Secretary Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi through the Ziarah MADANI programme.  

“Behind that calm face lies the story of a woman’s struggle who has never given up despite facing continuous life challenges.  

“On behalf of the Prime Minister, I extended cash assistance and a food basket to help lessen her family’s burden. More importantly, it is about sharing compassion and moral support so that she knows she is not alone in this struggle,” he said in a Facebook post today, which was also shared by Anwar.  

Ahmad Farhan said the spirit of Ziarah MADANI is not only about reaching out to those in need but also about rekindling hope so they remain steadfast in facing life’s trials.
