KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- The Rural and Regional Development Ministry (KKDW) and the South East Johor Development Authority (KEJORA) will strengthen the transformation agenda to ensure that rural development continues to generate high-impact outcomes.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the commitment was expressed during his meeting with Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi and KEJORA’s top management in Putrajaya today.
“God willing, this discussion will mark a new phase in efforts to strengthen KEJORA’s overall direction.
“This is vital to ensure that every rural development initiative remains high-impact and delivers tangible benefits to the people,” he said in a Facebook post.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also Rural and Regional Development Minister, said the session included a presentation on the KEJORA Transformation Action Plan, designed to enhance socioeconomic development and improve the well-being of communities in the south-east Johor region.
He reiterated KKDW’s commitment to advancing a sustainable, inclusive and balanced rural development agenda across the country, including in Johor.
