PUTRAJAYA, Nov 11 (Bernama) -- The Corruption Perception Index (CPI) Special Task Force, through its Enforcement Focus Group (FG), is developing an action plan to strengthen integrity and improve enforcement efficiency in efforts to boost Malaysia’s CPI ranking and score.

The Enforcement FG Action Plan for 2026 outlines key strategies, initiatives and priority actions that focus on reinforcing integrity, transparency, accountability and the efficiency of enforcement operations.

Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission chief executive officer Asliza Ali said the action plan emphasises a data-driven, integrated approach to enforcement reforms, in line with the government’s commitment to strengthening good governance and restoring public confidence in enforcement institutions.

Asliza, who also leads the Enforcement FG, said this in a statement today in conjunction with a two-day FG Action Plan Workshop, which began here yesterday.

She said the workshop aimed to refine the framework and proposed initiatives that will be finalised for implementation.

The workshop brought together senior officers from 12 agencies, including the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, the Eastern Sabah Security Command, the Royal Malaysia Police, the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, the Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency and the Registrar of Societies.
