GAZA, Nov 19 (Bernama-WAFA) -- The death toll in Gaza has climbed to 69,513, most of them children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023, Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported, citing medical sources.

Local health authorities said the number of wounded has reached 170,745 over the course of the assault.

Many victims remain buried under collapsed buildings as ambulances and civil defence crews struggle to reach them amid ongoing dangers and limited resources.

According to medical reports, hospitals in Gaza received seven bodies over the past 48 hours, including two victims recovered from beneath the rubble, in addition to 33 injured people.

Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on Oct 11, 2025, at least 280 Palestinians have been killed and 672 others wounded, while 571 bodies have been recovered during this period.
