Closure Of One Lane Near Moonlight Bay Until Nov 30

GEORGE TOWN, Nov 21 (Bernama) -- One lane on Jalan Batu Ferringhi, near Moonlight Bay, will be closed until Nov 30 to allow repairs to cracks and subsidence.

Penang Infrastructure and Transport Committee chairman Zairil Khir Johari said contractors are carrying out soil nailing works along the road.

“The lane closure is to facilitate repair works and other related activities by the contractors appointed by the Timur Laut Public Works Department,” he said in a statement today.

He urged road users to exercise caution, reduce their speed, comply with safety signs, and follow the instructions of traffic controllers at the site.
