Sharifah Rose Inspires With Simple, Elegant Style

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 23 (Bernama) -- Beyond her work as an actress, Sharifah Rose is celebrated for her simple yet elegant style, which has become a source of inspiration for many, particularly young women.

Frequently sharing fashion ideas through video content on social media, the personality with over 800,000 Instagram followers proves that fashion is not just about keeping up with trends, but also a way to express confidence.

“My preference is usually neat, comfortable and simple. I also like to mix and match. People often have the mindset that once you wear an outfit, you shouldn’t repeat it.

“But I love repeating my outfits, mixing and matching them with different styling. Besides saving money, it also helps us practise sustainable fashion,” she told Bernama when met at the Wardah Colorfit x FMA (Fashionably Modest Asia 2025) event recently.

The Dua Darjat and 3 Nota Cinta heroine believes that fashion should highlight one’s personality, not become a platform for comparison that ends up killing confidence.

“It’s good to be inspired and to inspire others, but we need to know ourselves—what we are comfortable with and what we like. Don’t lose your identity just because you want to fit in,” she said.

Sharing updates on her acting career, Sharifah Rose Sabrina Syed Mohd Mazfira will soon appear in the drama series Doa Yang Terlindung, starring alongside Fasha Sandha, Nafiz Muaz and Firdaus Karim.

“This character is quite different—not like my previous cheeky and fun roles. The storyline is heavier.

“I think the story is good and can inspire others, including showing ways to rise from life’s challenges. That’s what attracted me to accept this role,” said Rose, who is generally more comfortable with romantic comedy genres.

The eldest of two siblings will also appear in a romantic-comedy micro drama series Jiran Tepi, Hati-Hati, alongside actor Syafi Tee, produced in collaboration with RTMKlik and the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas).
