Sabah Folk Will Make Right Choice Based On Facts, Not Emotion - Ramanan

28/11/2025 09:21 PM

KOTA KINABALU, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- PKR vice-president Datuk Seri R. Ramanan is confident that the people of Sabah will make the right choice by basing their decision on facts and reality rather than emotion when casting their ballots in tomorrow's 17th Sabah State Election.

Speaking to reporters after observing the last-minute preparations at the Moyog State Legislative Assembly's main operations room, he said that although this year's polls have been described as being intense and challenging, there is no denying the Federal Government's role in showing concern for the state and its people.

"The MADANI Government has shown extraordinary commitment in safeguarding the interests of Sabah as a whole. In fact, Datuk Seri Anwar is the only Prime Minister to have most frequently gone to Sabah to ensure that development implementation is going well,” he said.

Ramanan, who is also the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, said Sabah also received the largest development allocation in history through the MADANI Budget, which clearly proves the Federal Government's earnest concern for the state's welfare.

As such, on polling day tomorrow, Ramanan is confident that the people of Sabah will elect the best candidates for a more stable, prosperous and assured future.

He also stressed that the relationship between the Federal Government and the state government, which is currently at its best, must be maintained.

According to him, this is crucial because a friendly and close relationship will pave the way for proper attention to be given to ensure the welfare of the people of Sabah.
