Polls: Sabah Electricity All Set To Ensure Stable Power Supply 

KOTA KINABALU, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- Sabah Electricity is all set to ensure a smooth and stable power supply throughout the 17th Sabah State Election process tomorrow.

The utility company posted on Facebook that it will ensure proper electricity supply at all polling centres and vote tallying centres statewide.

 "Our mission is to ensure a stable electricity supply, from technical inspections, collaboration with the Election Commission (EC) and up to providing mobile generators, our team is fully prepared.

"Sabah Electricity is committed to supporting a smooth election process for the people of Sabah,” it added.

Sabah Electricity has also activated the central operations room in conjunction with the state election, in addition to getting the assistance of the auxiliary police to increase security patrols and collaborating with the Public Works Department to inspect the internal wiring at the centres.

Over 1.74 million registered voters will cast their ballots in tomorrow's state election, which will see 73 state seats contested.
