PUTRAJAYA, Dec 3 (Bernama) -- The “ Rancakkan MADANI” programme, to be held for three days from this Friday (Dec 5) at the Dataran Putrajaya compound, is expected to attract more than 300,000 visitors, making it the largest public communication initiative ever organised by the Prime Minister’s Office’s Project Acceleration and Coordination Unit (PACU).
PACU Corporate Communications Head Sapian Mamat said the target reflects the wide range of activities being offered, including government service exhibitions, engagement sessions, policy forums, asset showcases, and various public programmes designed as a comprehensive platform to communicate government initiatives directly to the people.
He said this during a media briefing and site visit to the Rancakkan MADANI programme venue today.
The event is also organised in collaboration with the Public Service Department and the Malaysia Productivity Corporation.
“This programme will highlight government initiatives implemented throughout 2025, as well as those under the 2026 Budget.
“More than 30 government service booths will be open to help visitors obtain information, make enquiries and better understand the improvements being introduced within the public service,” he said.
At the same time, the programme will serve as a key platform to promote and widely disseminate the Public Service Reform Agenda (ARPA), following the reforms introduced by the MADANI Government to strengthen the quality of public service delivery.
Sapian said this face-to-face engagement is crucial, as it allows the public to see the government’s achievements firsthand and obtain direct explanations from civil servants.
He also announced that the 2025 National Public Service Reform Convention will be held concurrently, bringing together policy experts from the civil service and industry players.
The convention, he said, will be more substantive in nature, focusing on strategies to enhance public services and improve government delivery to ensure they remain responsive and well-received by the people.
According to Sapian, the three-day programme will cover eight main sectors, including Ukhwah MADANI, MADANI youth programmes, the public service reform agenda, the ASEAN segment and Malaysia’s achievements on the international stage.
“Malaysia has achieved many positive milestones this year at the domestic, ASEAN and global levels, and these successes will be showcased to the public through exhibitions and interactive activities.
“Apart from policy-focused content, various attraction programmes have also been lined up as a gesture of appreciation to visitors, including the MADANI Sale, which will offer discounts on essential items such as back-to-school supplies,” he said.
Sapian added that several industries are collaborating to offer discounted sales through coordination with the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
Among other attractions are the ‘Meow Fiesta’ cat exhibition, a disaster management demonstration by the SMART NADMA team, safety demonstrations by the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and the Home Affairs Ministry, as well as a programme to exchange old motorcycle helmets for new ones while stocks last.
For parents’ convenience, Kiddocare will also provide childcare services, with the first two hours offered free of charge.
The programme will also feature a land asset exhibition by various government agencies, allowing visitors to view the assets up close—an opportunity not possible during the National Day parade.
On accessibility and mobility, Sapian encouraged visitors to use public transportation, including the MRT.
“Shuttle buses will be provided at several park-and-ride locations, starting at the Parcel F Complex and ending near Heriot-Watt University Putrajaya. The route will also cover Persiaran Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Persiaran Perdana and Precinct 5,” he said.
Sapian added that the programme’s third day will be its highlight, with the entire Cabinet scheduled to attend an engagement session with the public alongside Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at 11 am.
The Rancakkan MADANI programme will run from 9 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 9 am to 6 pm on Sunday.
