PKR MPP Examines Sabah Election Findings

PUTRAJAYA, Dec 8 (Bernama) -- The PKR Central Leadership Council (MPP) held a special meeting here today to review preliminary findings from its post-mortem of the 17th Sabah State Election.

PKR information chief Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said the meeting also discussed issues related to the performance of seats contested by Pakatan Harapan.

“The process of gathering views and findings will continue, with follow-up actions to be examined at the next MPP meeting,” he said in a statement issued after the special meeting.

Fahmi, who is also the Communications Minister, said the MPP meeting also received a brief from Prime Minister and PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim regarding several recent economic measures, including the increase in the e-invoice threshold and faster repayment of tax overpayments.

The special meeting began at about 5 pm and ended two hours later.

Those seen attending included Fahmi, PKR vice-president and Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, and Deputy Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, who is also an MPP member.
