SJKT Ladang Chembong Chosen As MADANI Adopted School By KBS

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) has chosen Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Ladang Chembong in Rembau, Negeri Sembilan, as its MADANI Adopted School.

In a statement, KBS said the Negeri Sembilan Youth and Sports Department will serve as the implementing agency, working alongside the Rembau District Education Office, the Chembong National Youth Skills Institute (IKTBN), and the Rembau District Youth Council.

The programme will involve both physical and non-physical projects. The physical aspect includes the upgrading and refurbishment of the school’s Resource Centre, while the non-physical initiatives will focus on youth services and social activities, as well as sports.

“This programme aims to inspire the Ladang Chembong community by encouraging ongoing activities focused on sports, education, volunteerism, and an active lifestyle,” read the statement.

KBS also highlighted that the programme supports efforts to empower the school community through various relevant and sustainable development initiatives based on MADANI values
