Top Glove’s Lim Wee Chai Pens Lessons From 30 Years In Business

SHAH ALAM, Dec 18 (Bernama) -- The life journey and more than 30 years of business experience of Top Glove Corporation Bhd founder and executive chairman Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee Chai have been captured in a new biography, ‘Must Know, Must Do, Must Teach’, launched here today.

The 145-page book charts Lim’s rise from Kampung Baru Cina in Titi, Negeri Sembilan, to building Top Glove into Malaysia’s largest glove manufacturer.

Lim said the biography is not just a personal story, but a source of inspiration for anyone seeking success in their field.

“Knowledge we possess should be shared with society. Sharing it benefits not only others but also ourselves. Good and useful knowledge should never be kept to oneself,” he said at the launch.

He also stressed that knowledge and wise decision-making are key to ensuring individuals, organisations and nations can make positive contributions to economic and social development.

“Decisions made without knowledge can have long-term negative effects and may even turn a person into a burden on the system. Wise decisions, however, yield positive outcomes,” he said.

The launch of ‘Must Know, Must Do, Must Teach’ aims to promote rational, disciplined and responsible thinking, particularly when making decisions with lasting consequences.
