3 Dead, 8 Injured As Bus Runs Over Them In India's Mumbai

NEW DELHI, Dec 30 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- At least three persons, including two women, died and eight others were injured when a bus ran over them in India's Mumbai city in the southwestern state of Maharashtra late Monday night, local police confirmed, reported Xinhua.

According to a policeman, all the injured were admitted to a local hospital, with several in critical condition.

The incident reportedly occurred at around 10:05 pm on the busy Railway Station Road in the Bhandup area of Mumbai. The driver of the bus has been apprehended.
