WTS FC Target Revival In Second Round Of A1 League

10/01/2026 07:19 PM

KOTA BHARU, Jan 10 (Bernama) -- Kelantan WTS FC head coach Kamaruddin Muhammad is determined to improve his team’s position in the A1 Semi-Pro League standings in the second round of the season.

Kamaruddin stressed that he does not want his side to continue dropping points in the remaining matches, while acknowledging that their current position in ninth place is still far from the team’s target.

“I realise that being in ninth place is nothing to be proud of. However, the remaining second-round fixtures provide an opportunity for us to bounce back and improve our position in the league table. I am determined that at the very least, the team can finish the season among the top five,” he told Bernama today.

After 16 matches, Kelantan WTS FC have collected 22 points from six wins, four draws and six defeats.

To strengthen the squad, Kelantan WTS FC have also brought in three new import players during the second transfer window, namely Ghanaian defender Arbdallah Dandy, Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Arthur, and Congolese striker Emmanuel Masido.
