Private University Compressor Explosion Claims One Life, Nine Others Injured

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 12 (Bernama) -- A victim of this morning’s compressor explosion at a private university has died, Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said.

He confirmed that the 24-year-old man, who worked with the air conditioner contractor, died while being treated at Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

“The latest development is that another victim has been identified, bringing the total number of victims involved to 10, compared to the nine injured victims reported previously,” he said in a statement today.

The ten individuals were caught in an explosion involving an air conditioning compressor occurred in a private university in Bukit Damansara this morning.
