KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 20 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will launch the National Education Plan (RPN) 2026-2035 in Putrajaya today, an education reform aimed at building a fairer, more competitive future for children based on strong values.
Anwar said the new education plan involves two ministries -- the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).
“This is an education reform for a future where children have fairer opportunities, are more competitive and rooted in values, so that they can build meaningful and dignified lives,” he said in a Facebook post.
The launch ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre at 12.30 pm.
The RPN 2026-2035 is a national strategic education plan covering the entire education ecosystem in the country, from schools to higher education.
In a previous joint statement, the MOE and MOHE said the launch reflects the MADANI government’s commitment to strengthening a quality, inclusive and globally competitive education system.
