One Strategy Launches One Credit Platform For Risk Management, Credit Underwriting

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 (Bernama) -- Fintech and data intelligence firm, One Strategy Group Sdn Bhd, has launched One Credit, an integrated platform for risk management, know-your-customer (KYC) and credit underwriting.

Driven by artificial intelligence (AI), One Credit aims to be a technology-driven data hub that enables banks and businesses to underwrite loans and trade credit more confidently, and assist individuals in understanding their financial standing.

Its co-founder and chief executive officer, Liew Tian Rong said the platform is committed to building the future of financial technology for all. 

"As the newest credit bureau in Malaysia, we generate individual and business credit reports that help small and medium enterprises (SMEs), individual consumers, as well as banks, in managing risks and achieving their financial goals. 

"Beyond that, OneCredit is focused on data, intelligence, and technology, building the best of technology and bringing it into the daily environment, workflows and processes," he said in a presentation at the launch of the platform here today.

OneCredit was officially launched by Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) chairman, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, and the event was attended by leaders from financial institutions, corporate partners and members of Malaysia's broader fintech ecosystem.

According to OneCredit, the platform will support informed credit and risk decisions through predictive analytics and intelligent decision tools.

"OneCredit is built on strict data governance, full Malaysia Personal Data Protection Act 2010 compliance and high-level security standards, ensuring that every insight we provide is secure, responsible and reliable," it said.

Meanwhile, Tengku Zafrul noted that OneCredit leverages AI to provide unified credit insights, assess a company’s creditworthiness, and help SMEs participate more effectively in the economy, while exemplifying the digital transformation envisioned for the nation
