KOTA KINABALU, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has welcomed Japanese investors to the state, particularly in the Blue Economy sector.
Hajiji said the Blue Economy offers many investment opportunities.
“The state government’s investor-friendly policy also opens the door to various economic sectors for investors to explore,” he said in a statement after meeting Japanese Ambassador to Malaysia Shikata Noriyuki at Sri Gaya here today.
Shikata is in Sabah for a three-day official visit, during which he will visit Universiti Malaysia Sabah and promote the Green×Expo 2027 to be held in Yokohama.
The ambassador was accompanied by Head of the Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu, Yamashita Yoshito and embassy officials.
