KLCI Futures Ends Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly higher on Monday, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.

At the close, the February 2026 contract rose half-a-point to 1,740.50 and June 2026 gained 1.0 point to 1,725.0. Both March 2026 and September 2026 were flat at 1,720.50 and 1,712.0, respectively.

Turnover was lower at 3,473 lots from 6,678 lots last Friday, while open interest decreased to 41,005 contracts from 43,523 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI gained 1.72 points, or 0.10 per cent, to 1,741.26, compared with Friday’s close of 1,739.54.
