Zainani Jusoh Appointed UiTM Adjunct Professor

SHAH ALAM, March 3 (Bernama) -- Accountant General Datuk Zainani Jusoh has been appointed an adjunct professor of the Faculty of Accountancy of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

The university said in a statement today that the appointment is for a two-year term, effective Dec 15, 2025. 

It said the appointment seeks to enhance collaboration between the university and the Accountant-General’s Department (JANM) in public sector accounting, professional development, research and academic publications.

“It is also in line with efforts to ensure the accounting curriculum remains relevant and aligned with current requirements in government financial governance.

“This collaboration is expected to have a significant impact on academic, professional and research development, while further reinforcing UiTM’s position as a progressive higher education institution attuned to the needs of industry and the nation’s public sector,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, UiTM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Shahrin Sahib @ Sahibuddin conveyed his congratulations on the appointment, describing it as a notable recognition for UiTM’s Faculty of Accountancy.

“Her extensive experience in public sector financial management will bring significant added value to the academic and professional development of both students and faculty members,” he said.
