KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today in sync with the underlying cash market.

At the close, the March 2026 contract rose 26.5 points to 1,713.0, April 2026 added 25.5 points to 1,713.50, June 2026 gained 24.5 points to 1,711.50, and September 2026 increased 23.5 points to 1,691.50.

Turnover advanced to 7,463 lots from 4,877 on Monday, while open interest improved to 40,728 contracts from 38,539 previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 14.43 points or 0.85 per cent to 1,710.99 from yesterday’s close of 1,696.56.
