Aidilfitri: Perlis Raja Muda Urges Unity, Compassion Among People

KANGAR, March 19 (Bernama) -- The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, has called for the continued nurturing of unity, mutual respect and compassion among the people to ensure the well-being of the state and nation.

In his Aidilfitri message, in conjunction with the celebration to be observed by Muslims in the country on Saturday, he also advised those returning to their hometowns to exercise caution on the roads and prioritise safety throughout their journeys.

“Muslims are also urged not to forget fellow believers facing trials and suffering in conflict-affected countries, and to continue praying for their peace and well-being,” he said.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness, together with the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis Tuanku Dr Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil and their children, extended Aidilfitri greetings to the people of Perlis and Muslims nationwide.

“After a month of fasting during the blessed Ramadan, Aidilfitri symbolises victory and gratitude, and serves as an opportunity to strengthen ties among family members, friends and the community,” he added.
