KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 (Bernama) – The soothing vocals of South Korean singer Kim Jong-dae, better known as Chen, resonated throughout Zepp Kuala Lumpur yesterday evening, leaving his fans immersed in his music.
His ‘Arcadia’ solo concert, which began promptly at 6 pm, saw the audience arriving mostly dressed in shades of pink, with a number of them elegantly clad in baju kurung in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri season, adding a festive touch to the evening.

Chen, 34, who is the vocalist of South Korean boy band EXO and last performed in Malaysia in 2024, opened the intimate show with his hit track ‘No Gravity’, followed by ‘Fall in Love Again’.
“Hey Kuala Lumpur, make some noise! For this Arcadia tour, I went to many cities, and every time I see you all cheering and (being) there for me, I really feel rewarded.
“… I was last here in 2024. I think I promised you I will come back with a live band. Thank you for waiting for a long time. I worked really hard for this..., ” he said before continuing with ‘I Don’t Even Mind’.
Throughout the nearly two-hour performance, Chen showcased his consistently powerful vocals, sending fans into a frenzy as they cheered nonstop.

The atmosphere grew even more vibrant as fans waved EXO lightsticks, amplifying the energy of the concert, which also marked the final stop of his tour.
One of the most memorable moments came when the father of two stepped off the stage to get closer to his fans, even handing the microphone to a few lucky individuals to sing along with him.
Seizing the moment, his fans erupted in excitement, capturing every second on their smartphones to preserve the unforgettable experience.

In a light-hearted moment before closing the show, Chen joked that he might lose his voice after performing nearly 20 songs, drawing laughter from the crowd.
“Even if I lose my voice tomorrow, I don’t care at all. I truly enjoyed every moment here with all of you,” he said.
Chen also sang ballads such as ‘Deja-Vu’, ‘Arcadia’, ‘Best Luck’ and ‘Photograph’, leaving a lasting impression on his fans.
