Iran IRGC Naval Intelligence Deputy Chief Killed In US-Israeli Attack

ISTANBUL, April 3 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- Deputy Chief of Naval Intelligence of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Behnam Rezaei was killed in a US-Israeli attack, Anadolu Ajansi (AA) reported, citing Iranian media.

His death comes amid escalating hostilities following strikes launched by the United States (US) and Israel on Feb 28, which have killed more than 1,340 people, including senior officials and Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Iran has responded with drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq and several Gulf countries hosting US military assets, causing casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions to global markets and aviation.
