Teacher In Russia Dies After Knife Attack By Pupil

MOSCOW, April 7 (Bernama-dpa) -- A pupil in Russia’s Perm region in the Urals has killed a teacher with a knife, Governor Dmitry Makhonin said on Tuesday, reported German Press Agency (dpa).

The Russian language and literature teacher succumbed to her injuries in hospital, Makhonin said.

The 17-year-old boy was detained after the attack at a school in the town of Dobryanka, more than 1,100 kilometres east of Moscow.

Authorities gave no information on possible motives.
