KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 (Bernama) -- Taiwan Smart Solutions Connect 2026, organised by the Taiwan International Trade Administration (TITA) and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) in collaboration with the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM), will take place on May 12, 2026.

In a statement, TAITRA said this event, to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, will bring together over 20 Taiwanese technology companies to showcase proven artificial intelligence (AI)-driven solutions through a forum, technology showcase, and exclusive one-on-one business-matching sessions.

The council said the event will also provide a platform to strengthen business engagement and foster closer collaboration between Taiwan and Malaysia.

“The event will feature four key sectors, namely smart manufacturing and industrial AI; smart city and sustainable energy; digital transformation and enterprise AI; and smart healthcare and wellness, all of which align with Malaysia’s MyDIGITAL initiative and Industry 4.0 roadmap, supporting efforts to accelerate digitalisation and improve operational efficiency,” it said.

The “AI-Driven Future” forum will feature speakers, including FMM president Jacob Lee Chor Kok, who will share insights on Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030 and Industry 4.0 development, including key challenges and strategies for multi-site digitalisation, it said.

Also speaking will be Delta Electronics Solutions (Malaysia) head of sales for industrial automation Quah Soon Kooi, who will present case studies on AI and automation in manufacturing, including energy management and smart production applications.

The council said the event is designed as a one-stop business platform, combining knowledge exchange, technology showcase, and targeted business matching, with one-on-one meetings to take place immediately after the forum, enabling Malaysian companies to connect directly with Taiwanese solution providers and explore potential partnerships.

Registration is now open for Malaysian companies interested in adopting smart technologies or expanding business opportunities at its official website: https://sites.google.com/view/twsmarttech-my-2026/home, with limited slots available.
