KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama) -- National hurdler Muhammad Armin Zahryl Abdul Latif won the gold medal in the 110 metres men’s hurdles at the 2026 Singapore Open Track and Field Championship at National Stadium in Singapore today.
Muhammad Armin won the gold with a new personal best time of 13.82 seconds, ahead of Singaporean Ang Chen Xiang (13.85 s) and Clinton Kingsley Bautista of the Philippines (14.22 s)
“I’m happy to have recorded a personal best of 13.82 s beating my previous 13.85 s. Actually my target for 2026 is to run 13.90 s and Alhamdulillah I set a new personal best.
“I would like to thank my parents, coach, teammates and local fans who have always supported me,” he said in a Facebook post by Athletics Malaysia today.
Meanwhile, Ng Jing Xuan won the silver in the women’s javeling with a distance of 47.49 m.
