Ahmad Zahid, Shamsul Azri Extend Birthday Greetings To Raja Of Perlis

KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar today extended their congratulations to the Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, in conjunction with His Royal Highness’s 83rd birthday celebration.

In a Facebook post, Ahmad Zahid prayed for Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin to always be blessed with mercy and long-lasting good health.

“I pray that His Royal Highness Tuanku will always be showered with blessings, granted continued good health and remain in peace and under the protection of Allah,” he said.

Meanwhile, Shamsul Azri also expressed gratitude for the Tuanku’s gracious conferment of the Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Perlis (S.P.M.P.), which he said carried great meaning for him and the entire civil service.

“I pray to Allah that, with His guidance and blessings, His Royal Highness Tuanku is granted a long and prosperous life and in good health, and I pray the same for Her Royal Highness the Raja Perempuan of Perlis and the entire Royal Family.

“May His Royal Highness Tuanku continue to rule the state of Perlis with justice and fairness,” he said.
