Number Of X App Downloads Tops One Billion – Musk

MOSCOW, May 18 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- The number of downloads of the X social network app has exceeded one billion, its owner, United States (US) entrepreneur Elon Musk, announced, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.

"X now has over a billion downloads," Musk said on the social media platform X.

In March, Musk said that February 28 had seen the heaviest X usage ever recorded.

That day, the US and Israel began striking targets in Iran.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) earlier agreed to settle its lawsuit against Musk for alleged violations during his acquisition of Twitter (now X) by issuing a fine.
