Ahmad Zahid Congratulates Hakim Danish On Moto3 Podium Finish

KUALA LUMPUR, May 31 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi  congratulated Moto3 racer Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli for his third place win at the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello Circuit today.

He described the result as meaningful as it was the first time a Malaysian secured a Moto3 podium finish in almost a decade.

“Extraordinary! Congraulations to Hakim Danish Ramli on winning third place in the Italian GP at Mugello Circuit today,” he posted on Facebook today.

He also expressed his hope that the achievement would spur Muhammad Hakim Danish on to more wins in the future and bring glory to the country.

It is the 18-year-old’s first podium finish after seven races this season.
