KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 (Bernama) -- Kee Ming Group Bhd has secured a RM21.36 million hyperscale data centre subcontract in Puncak Alam, Selangor.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, Kee Ming said its wholly owned subsidiary, Kee Ming Electrical Sdn Bhd (KME), has accepted a letter of award (LOA) on June 9, 2026, to undertake subcontract works for electrical engineering services in relation to a hyperscale data centre project.
The mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering specialist said the LOA was awarded to KME by a third party primarily involved in integrated M&E solutions.
“The scope of works to be undertaken by KME is the supply, delivery and installation of external utilities comprising high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage, extra-low voltage, telecommunication duct-related works for the electrical works package and electrical works for the main building of the project, subject to the terms and conditions of the LOA,” it said.
KME also noted that the subcontract works are expected to be completed by Dec 30, 2026, in accordance with the project schedule.
