KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 (Bernama) -- HRX by IFCA MSC Bhd has launched a new small and medium enterprises (SME)-focused initiative to help Malaysian employers manage payroll accuracy, statutory obligations and workforce operations with greater compliance confidence, without the cost and complexity of heavy enterprise systems.
Backed by IFCA MSC’s 39 years of enterprise software expertise and more than a decade of experience in delivering enterprise-level human resources management system (HRMS) solutions, the company is extending its proven human resources (HR), payroll and compliance capabilities to SMEs and growing businesses through scalable and easier-to-adopt solutions.
HRX by IFCA MSC vice-president Eugene Teoh said Malaysian employers are being asked to operate with greater accuracy, greater speed and far less room for error.
“What businesses need now is not more software for the sake of it, but systems that reduce manual pressure, strengthen compliance confidence and keep pace as the organisation grows. That is the direction HRX is continuing to build towards,” he said.
For many businesses, especially those without large in-house HR or payroll teams, the company said the challenge is no longer just processing payroll, but it is to ensure that payroll is accurate, compliant, timely and scalable as the organisation grows.
“Too often, employers select tools based on price or interface alone, only to face bigger problems later when compliance demands rise, operations grow more complex or the system can no longer keep pace.
“Hence, HRX is advancing a compliance-first approach built on IFCA’s enterprise HRMS foundation,” it said in a statement.
IFCA MSC said the new SME-focused pathway introduces clearer Basic, Standard and Premium editions, allowing businesses to start with essential payroll and statutory compliance before scaling into more advanced leave, claims, attendance, dashboards, analytics, general ledger integration and workflow customisation as their operational needs evolve.
As part of the next phase, the software company said HRX has also soft-launched its HRX Talent Intelligence Suite, an artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted capability focused on recruitment selection and shortlisting.
It said the suite is designed to help employers make faster, more confident hiring decisions while reducing the manual effort typically involved in candidate screening.
“A second phase, targeted for the third quarter of 2026, will focus on payroll and claims verification through the HRX Compliance Intelligence Suite.
“The upcoming suite is expected to support anomaly detection, compliance checks and verification workflows, helping HR and finance teams strengthen statutory accuracy, reduce processing risks and gain clearer visibility into monthly payroll operations,” it said.
