KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 (Bernama) -- Pergerakan Puteri Islam Malaysia (PPIM) president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail attended a get-together with 395 participants of the National Level Nature Camp 2026 programme at the National Planetarium here today.
Dr Wan Azizah, who is also the Prime Minister’s wife, arrived at the National Planetarium lobby at 1.17 pm, where she mingled with participants before signing the visitors’ book.
Also present were Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation deputy secretary-general (Planning and Enculturation of Science) Datuk Ruziah Shafei, PPIM honorary secretary Aizar Mohd Jaman, National Planetarium director Mohd Zamri Shah Mastor, as well as national and state PPIM leaders.
Meanwhile, Aizar said the camp, which is held once every two years, this time placed emphasis on the integration of environmental elements, the Quran and life skills to shape students’ identity.
She said the programme was also in line with the PPIM curriculum, which encompasses eight areas, namely spirituality, skills, environment, camping, management and administration, health, and personal development.
The PPIM National Level Nature Camp 2026 was held from June 18 to 20 at Laman Puteri, Kompleks Darul Puteri, Jalan Cheras here, while the closing ceremony took place at the National Planetarium today as part of a science and astronomy educational visit by participants.
