Tickets For Exists Concert Almost Sold Out

BUTTERWORTH, June 23 (Bernama) -- Excitement among fans for the ‘Exists Memento Mori Concert’, scheduled to take place at Unifi Arena, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, on Aug 1, is continuing to build, with tickets for the show — which celebrates the legendary band's 35-year musical journey — now nearly sold out.

Exists member Along said the overwhelming response began from the first day ticket sales opened, with less than five percent of tickets remaining.

“Most of the tickets were sold within the first month of sales. We are grateful and would like to thank everyone who has purchased tickets.

“God willing, we will deliver our very best performance at our concert. It will undoubtedly be a memorable night for all of us,” he told Bernama recently.

According to Along, the concert is expected to run for nearly three hours, featuring between 25 and 30 songs, including many of the timeless hits that have defined Exists throughout its 35-year journey in the music industry.

Among the songs almost certain to be performed are ‘Langkah Seiringan’, ‘Jesnita’ and ‘Untukmu Ibu’.

“We will also be performing songs frequently requested by fans, including some tracks that were rarely featured at our previous concerts,” he said.

In addition to showcasing the combined talents of Exists vocalists Mamat and Ezad, the concert will offer a fresh experience through specially arranged musical compositions created exclusively for the show.

Along, the band's lead guitarist, also encouraged concertgoers to wear 1980s-inspired attire in keeping with the concert's theme.

“We want everyone attending to enjoy a different kind of experience. That's why we chose an 80s theme and welcome fans to dress accordingly to help create a nostalgic atmosphere,” he said, adding that the band is currently intensifying rehearsals ahead of the concert.

Along also revealed that Exists will be releasing a new single before the concert.
