FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 1 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today.

Spot month October 2024 rose 3.5 points to 1,657.0, November 2024 added 6.5 points to 1,660.0, December 2024 gained 5.5 points to 1,664.5, and March 2025 went up 7.0 points to 1,652.0. 

Turnover dropped to 6,799 lots from 17,403 lots on Monday, while open interest reduced to 46,464 contracts from 63,477 contracts previously.  

The FBM KLCI increased by 7.48 points, or 0.45 per cent, settling at 1,656.39, up from Monday’s close of 1,648.91.
