AHB Announces 5.00 Sen Income Distribution For Full-Year 2024

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera (AHB) has set its final income distribution for the six-month period ended Sept 30, 2024 at 2.50 sen per unit, bringing the total distribution to five sen per unit for the full year of 2024.

In a joint statement today, Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd (PHB) and PHB Asset Management Bhd (PHBAM) said the amount comprises an income distribution of 2.25 sen per unit, along with a bonus of 0.25 sen per unit.

“The bonus is payable to the first 1,000,000 units held by each unitholder and is funded by PHB as the sponsor,” they said.

In April 2024, PHB, together with Maybank Asset Management Bhd, AHB's previous manager, declared an interim income distribution of 2.20 sen per unit, with a bonus distribution of 0.3 sen per unit for the six-month period ended March 31, 2024.

“This brings the total income distribution to 5.00 sen per unit, or five per cent per annum, amounting to approximately RM232 million for the 12-month period ended Sept 30, 2024.

“AHB will distribute RM121 million to its 83,000 unitholders in this round. The income distributed is tax-free and net of zakat, with payments to be credited directly to unitholders’ bank accounts on Oct 14, 2024,” they said.

Bumiputera investors can subscribe to AHB at a fixed price of RM1.00 per unit through authorised distributors nationwide.
