FBM KLCI Futures Ends Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Monday. 

Spot months October 2024 and December 2024 shed 1.5 points each to 1,643.5 and 1,650.0, respectively, while November 2024 and March 2025 fell 1.0 points each to 1,647.0 and 1,639.0, respectively.

Turnover decreased to 3,893 lots from 6,134 last Friday, while open interest narrowed to 44,211 contracts from 46,103 previously.            

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) eased 0.31 of-a-point, or 0.02 per cent to 1,645.68 from Friday's close of 1,645.99.
