FBM KLCI Futures Ends Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Friday in line with the performance of the underlying cash market. 

Spot month October 2024 and December 2024 fell 16.0 points each to 1,616.0 and 1,623.5, respectively,  November 2024 declined 14.5 points to 1,620.5, and March 2025 reduced 17.0 points to 1,611.0.

Turnover increased to 31,631 lots from 20,217 lots yesterday, while open interest widened to 74,284 contracts from 62,121 previously.            

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI dropped 13.93 points, or 0.85 per cent, to 1,618.30 from Thursday’s close of 1,632.23.
