FBM KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower in early trade.

At 9.10 am, the November 2024 contract shaved 11.0 points to 1,636.5, December 2024 and March 2025 dropped 10.5 points to 1,640.5 and 1,629.0 respectively. The June 2025 edged down 1.0 point to 1,637.5.

Turnover amounted to 2,066 lots, with open interest at 35,235 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI was 2.34 points lower at 1,631.83 after 36 minutes of trading.
