OPPO Malaysia Launches AI-Powered Reno13 Series

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 7 (Bernama) -- OPPO Malaysia has unveiled its latest artificial intelligence (AI)-powered smartphones, the OPPO Reno13 Series, featuring the Reno13 Pro 5G, Reno13 5G, and Reno13 F 5G.

Popular actress Janna Nick, who has been appointed a Reno Expert, said the series features flagship-level AI features such as AI Livephoto, AI Editor, and underwater photography enabled by IP69-rated water and dust resistance.

“I really like AI Livephoto, because when you upload still images on social media platforms, your photo is moving but it does not count as a video or reel.

“The OPPO Reno13 series also allows you to take photos underwater without the need for external waterproof casings,” she told reporters at the OPPO Reno13 Series launch here today.  

 As part of the launch, the OPPO Reno13 Series received recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records for organising the “Longest Tech Fashion Runway on a Pool”. 

Among the series’ main attractions, Janna said, is its trendy and stylish butterfly-themed design on the back, “Butterfly Shadow”.

The OPPO Reno13 F 5G model is now open for pre-order and will be available at stores nationwide from Jan 11, 2025 onwards, retailing at RM1,399 each for the 8-gigabyte (GB) RAM plus 256GB data storage variant, RM1,499 each for the 12GB + 256GB variant, and RM1,799 each for the 12GB + 512GB variant.

For the OPPO RENO13, the unit price is RM2,299 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and RM2,599 for the 12GB + 512GB variant, while the OPPO Reno13 Pro’s 12GB + 512GB variant is marketed at RM2,999 each. 

Consumers can pre-order the Reno13 Series until Friday, Jan 10, with up to RM200 instant rebate and rewards worth up to RM2,266.

Meanwhile, at the same event, OPPO also launched two new products -- the OPPO Pad 3 tablet priced at RM1,999 and OPPO Enco Air 4 wireless earbuds at RM249.
