Perma-Pipe Secures Over US$27 Mln In Global Energy, Infrastructure Deals

KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 (Bernama) -- Perma-Pipe International Holdings Inc (Perma-Pipe) has announced it has secured multiple project awards totalling more than US$27 million across the Americas and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. (US$1=RM4.47)

The awarded contracts will employ Perma-Pipe’s anti-corrosion coating technologies and its proprietary XTRU-THERM insulation system, which features a spray-applied polyurethane foam encased in high-density polyethylene.

Perma-Pipe Chief Executive Officer, David Mansfield expressed optimism, emphasising that the new contracts represent key milestones.

Mansfield in a statement said the deals strengthen the company’s existing project backlog and reinforce Perma-Pipe’s role as a trusted solutions provider in critical infrastructure markets.

Meanwhile, the company’s Americas region Senior Vice President, Marc Huber highlighted growing market demand for the company’s offerings, driven by expansion in data centres, pharmaceutical investments, industrial developments, and midstream energy infrastructure.

On the other hand, its President, Saleh Sagr stated that the steady stream of new business underscores client confidence and the success of the company’s strategy to diversify its products and broaden its geographic footprint.

Key projects include anti-corrosion coating services for the oil and gas sector in Western Canada and the United Arab Emirates, along with double-containment and pre-insulated piping solutions for data centre and industrial expansion developments in the United States and Saudi Arabia.

Perma-Pipe is a global leader in pre-insulated piping and leak detection systems for oil and gas, district heating and cooling, and other applications.
